8 Days of Adventure Riding Across Morocco

Over eight days, Discovering Morocco takes you through constantly changing landscapes, roads and riding conditions.

From the mountains of northern Morocco to the vast landscapes of the Sahara, every stage brings a different riding experience.

Day 1 — The Rif Mountains

The adventure begins in northern Morocco.

Mountain roads, flowing corners and scenic routes introduce you to the first landscapes of the journey. It is the perfect environment to settle into the bike and enjoy the rhythm of riding through Morocco.

Day 2 — From the Rif to the Atlas

As the journey continues south, the landscape becomes bigger and more dramatic.

Mountain passes and secondary roads lead us towards the Atlas Mountains, passing remote valleys, traditional villages and spectacular viewpoints along the way.

Day 3 — Dirt Tracks & Off-Road Riding

At different stages of the journey, we leave the tarmac behind.

Dirt tracks, gravel roads and mountain trails introduce the off-road side of Morocco. These sections allow riders to build confidence on different surfaces while enjoying the freedom of adventure riding away from the main roads.

Day 4 — Valleys & Gorges

The journey continues through remote valleys and some of Morocco’s most impressive gorges.

The terrain changes again as mountain landscapes give way to palm groves, traditional villages and more open scenery.

This is where the motorcycle journey becomes as much about discovery as it is about riding.

Day 5 — Towards the Desert

As we continue south, the landscape becomes increasingly dry and open.

Mountain roads gradually give way to rocky plateaus, remote tracks and desert terrain. The horizon becomes wider and the feeling of space becomes part of the experience.

Day 6 — Hamadas

One of the most distinctive riding environments in Morocco is the hamada.

These vast rocky desert plateaus offer wide-open landscapes, remote tracks and a unique sense of freedom.

It is a completely different type of terrain from the mountain stages at the beginning of the journey.

Day 7 — The Sahara

And finally, the Sahara.

After crossing mountains, valleys, gorges, villages and desert plateaus, the journey reaches one of Morocco’s most iconic landscapes.

The vast desert environment creates a fitting conclusion to an unforgettable motorcycle adventure across the country.

Day 8 — The Final Ride

The final stage is a chance to take in everything the journey has offered: the roads, the tracks, the changing landscapes and the people encountered along the way.

One last day on the bike. One last stretch of Morocco. And one more memory to take home.

Every Day Is Different

One of the things that makes Discovering Morocco special is the variety.

Mountain roads.
Dirt tracks.
Remote valleys.
Gorges.
Palm groves.
Traditional villages.
Hamadas.
Desert.
And the Sahara.

Each stage has its own character. Each change of terrain feels like entering a different Morocco.

At the end of the journey, you may remember the corners, the tracks and the desert. But you will also remember the people, the food, the villages, the silence of the desert and those moments when you stop the bike, look around and realise:

“I’m riding through Morocco.”

That is Discovering Morocco.

Not just so you can go home saying you’ve ridden 2,000 kilometres.
